My Favorite

I offer these simple words as public notice to my willingness to give and receive.
Agape is a love undying, without condition or selfish actions.

My dull eyes are blind.
Were the clues so clear?
Sweetest love, I find
You touch now, ever more dear.

Awaken to me,
Sweet Prince.  My soft lips
Beg to pay their fee.
Show me your fears in my hips.

Your sex, my glory.
Whimpers, moans, and fights;
My passion story.
With each, I renew again.

I behave badly.
Each day stretching out
Duties you gladly,
Would trade for midnights in bed.

I beg love to last,
For I just now taste
The salt from years past.
I cannot lose you again.

The mist that did grey
My sight is now gone.
In your arms I stay,
A child, ever in love.

Would it take your death
To give me center?
I know your last breathe
Is the prelude to my fall.
