Have my eyes deceived? Am I now the fool Never dreaming of what I might achieve? Can I now look back And honestly believe I was never off track? The world is my shellfish Or is that crustacean? I finally realized That I am God's own creation. Looking for love, Never making any sense. Questions arising, Am I really that dense? Mirrors reflected Images so true I can actually declare that I haven't found you. Yes, I am speaking these words to a soul I have not yet known. The one taking place on my heart's velvet throne. And whenever she comes along I shall whistle a different tune. One that only relies on love, With no other emotion to tire of.
