Aesop nailed it well with the tale about the dog in the manger--- and I will take my lesson from it. Just because I do not have the stomach or teeth for plaster food does not mean someone else cannot have a taste. Plaster Wedding cake is an tribute to artifice--- but looks best from a distance, when you cannot see the cracks in the icing, or the dust kitties collecting in the corners. I have made my peace with God, and man, and me and if someone else cares to try and eat what I cannot stomach it is not for me to utter a word. Everyone to their taste, said the girl as she kissed the goat. Maybe she'll like plaster wedding cake just fine. |
