It isn't just lust and it isn't just fire Though both burn and blaze, greater then the sun There is something missing that cannot be named Something within you, something within her Perhaps the thing asked to be fixed is within a body A peice of the soul lost, or the heart, or the mind Perhaps there is an ache, an emptiness, a hollow pain Simple lust would make it all easier But lust and need are two different creatures... She may indeed fall in love with you Actually, she may already be in love with you For love seems to spring upon us ever so quickly Often when we are not looking for it, in the least But, I do not know if that is truly what you are afraid of I wonder if you fear that you yourself might fall for her? But perhaps these warnings that you write are for her But what if these warnings are for you? And yes,I think that someone would like to know what goes on What goes on to make these things so But, I think that that someone is you For I think that maybe you don't understand yourself And you are trying to make things make sense But making sense isn't all it's cracked up to be And I, myself, have never been a huge fan of logic... Maybe you are just looking for a thrill Maybe you are just trying to feel young Maybe, just mabye But all of these things, only you may answer... |
