It was simply one look, lingering only a moment But it said so much more then words ever could Your gaze...it voiced 101 things all at once As if to shout your emotions bravely in my direction But only for a moment, just a passing moment... Your eyes flashed, as if to say, "Notice me" And perhaps there was a hint of impatience imbedded within A look of wonder, of confusion, of possibility As if to say, "Do I dare? Do you dare?" Still the question was only posed then, no answer given But there was something there, that I am sure of A glowing desire, smoldering within you That, I must admit, made me smile And blush...and smile again Oh, what a look that was... |
