Scattered stardust, fragments of my mind Picking up the pieces of my sometimes brilliant thoughts I thinking that I'm falling again, but I can't be sure But, I know that I yelled back the thunder's call I just can't tell you exactly what that means... Somewhere within these darkened dead-end trials Somewhere, there is a way--this I know So, I am content to follow the string spun of fine silk hope Out of this labyrinth, out into God knows where But, I know that I am going somewhere, after all... 'Cause you can't spend life spinning your wheels all day Chances are fleeting and very hard see, sometimes Take what you can reach with outstretched hands And divise a way to reach what is beyond your fingertips Seek and ye shall find... Truth comes and truth goes, often a wolf in sheep's clothing It is not always consistent, it is not always good But it holds almost unimaginable power For when you know the truth, you then know what is a lie And then the shadows can be chased away Then the light can dance freely across your soul and face And then, and only then, can you live without restraint And love in the same manner-- As the fire inside your heart bids Only then may you be the wild fire raging... I find that the scattered stardust, the fragments of my mind They are not quite scattered anymore I am finally beginning to understand what has layed silent And I know now, that I am indeed falling once again... |
