Sometimes I can't help thinking about you And on rainy days like this, you're always on my mind The sweet smell on the breeze reminds me of your kiss The slightly warmed air feels almost like your embrace I find myself lost in thought, staring at the misty horizon And in the raindrops falling softly, I somehow see your face And I find myself question many things... I don't know why you are still in my thoughts I can't seem to understand, I can't quite think this through My mind just keeps going around in shakey circles As memories leap from the pages of the book that is my mind Vivid colors are dreaming darkly of things long gone by I shiver against the cold, and smile through these thoughts I remember you acutely, even now and then I think of you probably more often than I should And definately more often than I'd like But the point is that when I think of you now, I smile My tears are long past crying And my wounds are long past bleeding Even though they ache on rainy days just like this... |
