"What would you do if I told you I was falling deeply in love with you?" she asked me "Well, the first thing I would do is I would run a marathon." I said "Why?" she asked giggling "Well, so when I win the race and they ask me what inspired me I can say 'Love sir, love, this run was powered by love." She started to laugh. "Yeah, then you could put 'Powered By Love' stickers on the side of your car." "Yeah I could do that. And after doing that I would assemble a small parade outside of your place and make today the official 'Falling In Love' day." "Hehe you're so silly. Yeah, well, we're just friends. I was just joking. Too bad." she said sneering at me. But you know what? If you were falling in love with me the first thing I would do is look at the clock and see what time it was. Why? Because I would want to forever remember the exact moment and exact second that my entire life started to change for the better. If you were falling in love with me... I would write a million love sonnets about your smile. I would sernade you every moonlit night. I would take your hand and place it in mine and never let go. I would kiss your lips and keep count of every time your lips made contact with mine. And I would do everything in my power and in my ability as a stubborn male to show you that I love you too. But.. You were just joking. Too bad. |
