deeper, perhaps. so soon too soon to tell beyond the electricity. little static charges dancing inside along within skin. but deeper, perhaps, than that. is it enough that the shock has not started a fire but instead conceived a simple awareness of the sparks themselves? lights become lighter, sound quieter, perhaps, just more complete, maybe just different. is it enough not be blinded? not to be deafened? touch almost enveloping but not quite surrounding. everything feels deeper, perhaps, softer more inviting. is it enough to be invited? so hard too hard to place a finger on this much clarity all at once. so hard to imagine not wanting to, but there it is. an admission, perhaps, a secret that didn't even know it was being kept. and deeper, perhaps, than that. |
