Oh blessed lovers,only you can know, This sweet elation that burns within, Such beatiful friction of love on love That clouds the eyes,imbues the skin With a crimson,almost rosy hue A voice that wavers,a pulse so fast; Fingers that tremgle,feet that stumble, That were so sure in moments past, But suffer now no co-ordination No coherent word or thought achieved, Such splendid stupor,sweet inebriation Has all my senses now relieved, Of any desire for profit or gain Oh leave me to drown in love's deepest sea, Don't tell them my state or send any help Just leave me to float for eternity!! |
