I must tell you once more that it's all rather frightening To have dreamed as I've dreamt before. To have expressed desires and emotions - in situations inciting, With you ... oh my long-lost amour. In my mind I have touched you, embraced and have felt you And have loved you unlike others heretofore. I've seen me beside you, above you, inside you - inspired as never before. Forgive this confession - these lustful pretensions, if I have forced you to explore Hidden feelings, desires - secret passions and fires towards me Have I caused you alarm? I can't help but note that our relationship has grown moot in consequence of events I deplore. But what else can I do? 'Cept go on dreaming of you And to repeat to myself "Evermore...." |
