If I should choose to die for love, would it be worth the cost? Is love alone a reason enough for a life to be gladly lost? Is love more precious than life itself, or do they co-exist Does one love to live or live to love, Oh please tell me this Have you,as I, lived to love someone yet had your love returned? Un- opened, unused, cast aside, your greatest emotion spurned? Have you had someone fill your dreams, your every waking hour, Yet when you approach as a bee to the bud you find them a closed flower, For having enticed you with their guile, having taken all you are They leave you cold, their lies unfold and mock you from afar. Should I choose to die for love I will gladly keep no scores, For that love more precious than life itself will be someone elses, not YOURS!!! |
