Dear Terry, (wait, you know your name. how lame's this gonna be?) How are you? What's the weather like? (what do you feel for me?) I heard that you got back from France. (did you meet someone there?) Last week I got your postcard. (..and a short strand of your hair. i guess that it got stuck between the wet stamp and the card.) I hope you had a super time. (god, why is this so hard?) Remember back in school, that time we both took that French class? (i spent the whole time fixed on you.) I struggled just to pass. I think that you did fine, though. I guess you're even better now. (though that you could improve at all seems unlikely, somehow.) Well, this postcard's getting mighty full (like my heart) I guess I'll see you over the Christmas holidays. (i love you.) Love, Me. |
