What wondrous words once again await me Though my day has not yet begun. I yearn for them oh so patiently, For my sun to rise, to sunset the glum. She knows her words, their affect on me But doesn't she know my love why can't she see How she's left me without sense, No set plan of defense, Allow me please, token recovery. Whatever may come, whatever result I do wish her well, I dread tumult. My heart aches for her so in fevered dismay Deep in my chest against which I replay In body and mind, a dual display. I yearn for her, only her, only her. My spirit and soul has she always controlled, I'm unwilling, too feeble to fight back. She knows this too as her aim is true Her target regained and on track. To love given love she exclaims to all And I echo her words in return. There's so much to say, as much to repay In sweet rapture, Love to capture, To relearn. |
