You asked me today how much I love you, well my sweet, there are no words that describe "how much". But I said the best that I could think of.... "I love you more than there is water in the oceans, lakes, rivers, creeks, and seas, I love you more than there are leaves in a million trees in the middle of Spring, I love you more than there are stars in the sky." Then you asked me why.... Can't you see? I love everything about you. I love the way you look at me, I love the way you smile at me, I love the way you come up with little nicknames like Baby, Sweetie, Buttercup, Angel, and such. I love the way we stay up all night talking about nothing, and I love the way we make up after a silly, little argument. I love the way we fit together so perfectly when we hold each other. I love the way you talk, the way you think, and even the way you look. I love the way you get really quiet when you are upset, and the way you get really goofy when you are tired. I love the way you get when you want to snuggle, it's as if you can't get close enough to me or your arms can't get a tight enough grip around me, but if it was possible I wouldn't be able to breathe. I love the way you close your eyes when you kiss me, whether slowly as if savoring the moment or fast, excitedly in the more heated moments. I love the way you are when you are around kids, you are the biggest kid of them all! I love the way you pick at me and tease me about my southern accent when you are so northern. I love the way the pride shows through you when another guy asks me out and I put my arm around you. I love the way you get jealous at times when guys whistle or stare at me. I love the way you love me...... So, baby, the next time you wonder how I could love you, why or how much, my answer will be the same. I love everything about you, I love YOU. |
