The man is kind and sweet and smart, and his word was rock steady, his advice ever sound... and one day he turned and found himself laughing into the last pair of eyes he ever should have seen. And it took no time for spark to blaze for hunger to turn to a white hot torment only soothed by her touch. He fell into pure satin and sweet cries and madness. And when she left it should have been salvation might have been had he not tasted that special fruit, and now he see her eyes feels her when he moves and while he knows what is, and what is not some nights he would sell his soul for one last drop of her taste. I know friends who say they would trade all for one night--- one hour--- to know what it would be. And then I see his eyes and wonder if it is not better, to never know at all. |
