| Whenever we're together, I ask you, "Why couldn't we hook up?" You always say, "Well I never thought of you as anything more then a friend." Don't you understand that I never thought of you as anything more then a friend too, but I still love you. Or is this just some game you play to see how far I'm willing to go for your love? It couldn't be that, you always tell me that you love me and that I'm your best friend, but isn't that the perfect relationship, doesn't everyone wish to be with someone that they can talk to about anything and never have to feel awkard around. Maybe you just don't want to ruin our friendship that we have, I mean it is pretty cool. I can tell you things, you can tell me things, we can hug, give each other pecks and even cuddle together and sleep the night away. Whenever I ask you "Why?" Why we can't be together, for real, boyfriend and girlfriend, lover to lover, soulmate to soulmate, you always tell me the samething and it annoys the hell out of me because I hate getting an answer to a question with another question, you know this and yet you do it all the time. I ask "Why?" and you say, "Why would you want me?" I don't know why, maybe I only want you, because I can't have you. |
