Do you remember when we first met? I do...it was by chance.You were at a party, one my best friend begged me to tag along with her to. Your friend came over and asked my name and then he introduced you to me. I thought it was so sweet, they way you acted shy. We stayed together for the rest of the party, then you drove me home. I only lived two blocks away, but it took two hours to get to my house. We talked as you drove right past my house, then out of my neighbor hood and then out of the city. We talked of past relationships, friends, family and our favorite things...from color to food to clothes to season to just about everthing...even the time of day, and that's when you answered..... "I think Winnie The Pooh said it best when telling Christopher Robin...'My favorite time of day, is when you and me become WE.' and I hope that time comes everyday now." |
