If I knew it was over for good And you'd ended it because you'd wanted to And not because you thought I was gonna And you had said all those terrible things about me - behind my back And you'd meant them And you don't want to get back with me, or at least talk to me And you can't wait til I leave, Then I could move on with life. But you left it on a txt msg, With no follow up, And no conversation, For what has been almost a year. In which time I hated you, And cursed you, For the evil things you'd said, Supposedly. And then we called a silent truce, And now just avoid eachother, But in those occasional glances, I can't see closure, I only see possibilities, That I want you to tell me aren't there, So I can finally get over you! |
