Immortal Desire continuum

She awoke suddenly, as if someone had shaken her. Looking around she took notice of where she was. She lay naked in a sea of black satin, her white skin a stark contrast against the sheets. She felt rested, yet she wondered why she awoke so suddenly. She could recall no evil dreams, and no one had touched her. Looking around, her surrounding became familiar to her. She remembered being in here last night. Being in here with him. She smiled, and moistened her lips with her tongue. Wondering where he was, she quickly rose from the bed. She rose too quickly, she supposed, for the next thing she knew, she was on the floor. She suddenly felt drained, and the room was spinning. Collecting herself, she slowly stood up, holding the bedpost for support. She found her white robe lying crumpled on the floor in front of the fireplace. The coals were burning low, the heat nearly gone. There was a low heat radiating from them. She had a sudden remembrance of heat against her skin...but not from the fire. Pulling the robe on, she turned to find a full-length mirror behind her. Standing in front of it, she nearly fainted when she saw how pale she was. Her eyes were different; they were an odd shade of green. They reminded her of cat eyes. She suddenly felt afraid, fear was slowly consuming her body, making her weak. What had happened to her?
She forced herself to calm down, nearly losing the battle with her own panic. The room was fast becoming warm in the morning sunshine, but she still felt terribly cold. And hungry. Running a hand through her hair she searched the room for any sign of him. It was then that she spied the French doors leading out onto the balcony. The sudden memory of what had happened out there on that balcony flooded her so violently she nearly fell to the floor again. She was standing there, with her hands on her head, when he came walked through those doors. She looked at him, in his black boxers, as he stood there. His face was expressionless, but his eyes told of turmoil within that she was fast becoming familiar with. She thought of asking what happened... but she already knew the answer. Now she wanted to know why, and she couldn't even get the words out. She couldn't speak through the tears that were choking her, constricting her throat. All she could do, was cry.
