Last night, I had a dream I dreamt that you had come for a visit And I ran to you I ran to you and I threw my arms around you And I held you I held you so tight I didn't want to let you go I could hear your heart beating And feel your arms around me I could even smell your cologne. But there was a sadness in my heart That I could feel through my joy Because I knew that You wouldn't stay You would have to go back And I would be left alone Holding my pillow in the dark. |
