| Little Miss Goody Two Shoes was true blue. She oozed with sweetness and all that is good. Her choices were proper and her reputation was unblemished. She had nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness. She had always been able to read clearly the motives of others. She never thought that she could fall from the grace of God. One day in her life Mr. Red Rascal appeared. He made her his conquest and he drew her near. He became an expert on Little Miss Goody Two Shoes. Her heart told her spirit that Mr. Red Rascal was worthy. So where was Little Miss Goody Two Shoes' mind? She keeps playing the record over and over in her head. The declaration of love Mr. Red Rascal gave to her. He proclaimed protection from evil and offered to her a safe haven. Miss Goody Two Shoes hides from the mirror, but never the truth. Her admission is that she was weak whenever she was with him. What fault or blame does The Rascal play in this scenario? He brought out the best in her, but played upon her weaknesses. She keeps playing the record over and over in her head.. How did she allow her judgment to become cloudy? Only a friend and a priest know of her fallen from grace. Others wonder what happened to her because she is missing a shoe. Sometimes Little Miss Goody Two Shoes is asked why one foot is bare. Her eyes are solemn as she looks down. She says it's too dirty for other's to see. Did Mr. Red Rascal steal her good shoe or did she give it away? The door closed, but there is no closure. No closure causes annoyance and disturbs Little Miss Goody Two Shoes' spirit. Mr. Red Rascal's presence--in her mind, heart and soul haunts her day and night. |
