THE ART OF LOVING

How is it we view these 
    two lovers on a palette 
        busy mixing colors for a canvas 
            in bold touches and fine strokes 

fire, ice, mountains, oceans  
    brillant sunrises and sunsets 
        flowing images for a lifetime 
            dare we tell them what we see 

each never painting the joining bed 
    as a still life -- not these two
        but as joyful abstract we think 
             open for vivid interpretation!
