My lady night

The nights are free
As nights can be
You are sweet in dusk
And colder in lust
Be starry sightless
In city nightless
Or shady need
In darks we feed...

The spiraling lightless
In colors of none
I'd owe you longer
Within young suns
And shape my 'no things'
To gothic splendor
I ache in winter's
Curiosity; your cover

And whistling down
My still valley air
The straining steel calling
From far away mare
For truly night has
The life its own
And I only must follow
The things I know
