They sat out underneath them stars gigglin' how each one blink, Whisper in his baby's ear to shame 'em with her sparklin' wink. He point out what the educated men said was forms in the skies, An' trace contour of her face, losin' himself in heavenly eyes. Snugglin' under cloudless forever, talkin' 'bout dreams galore, Make love in the breeze as if the night was theirs forevermore. Happen to look at one another, 'course you know what they find, Both wonderin' if it somehow possible to read each others mind. Locked them hands tight as a vise, lay nestlin' without a sound, Try as they might to enjoy this moment o' happiness they found. Off in the distance lone coyote howl, lamentin' bein' left alone, As she purr in his ear how happy she was havin' him all her own.
