I have never been married. I'm scared of marriage. This is the truth. What else would you expect of a daughter who's mother married four times, of a daughter who's mother ran away from the father, found a married lover, and now sleeps alone after 23 years of waiting for him to finally unite their souls. She realized he was never her friend too many years too late. What would you expect of a daughter who spent years and days calling tree and sky family since everyone was too busy with themselves. What if one day I marry someone and you come running back? Will I then be like my mother? What if it's more complicated than "I Love You". |
