The bubble with which we surround ourselves Our own world It is invisible to all It is not made of physical materials But it is impenetrable And it is the only protection I have It cannot be broken, no one can get inside Unless I allow it It has happened before, Someone has been allowed through the gates and they brought with them all the destruction they could find. There is a reason that the walls are up I'm not just aloof, I am terrified I don't have that much more to lose Until I can rebuild my world inside I cannot risk another entering I will not let my guard down. |
