dark clouds form rain falls the sky becomes heavy reminding me of my heart large drops hit my window pane streaking their way in rivers down the glass it seems the rain will never clear and i'll be forever stuck in this darkness alas, cracks form through the grey shears of light break up the sky my eyes strain as they have not seen such light in so long and as i'm on the verge of dispair the clouds part, radiance surrounds me and i soak up the sunshine once more |
