I approached knowing nothing long distance conversations This time apart just gives us many months to argue loneliness is this issue She knows the future holds everything we've gained she's so perfect and calculated but can't be strong sometimes I bet she's sad when I'm weak I can tell by the tone She can tell by the sound Pacing my room thinking we need to see this through I lose words when I speak so I write you these thoughts on how we laugh and joke around to avoid confrontations Always feeling your arms Always feeling warm It's raining now and it won't be long until this weight has lifted me back into your arms It's hard to wake up without seeing your eyes So let me touch your face and have these dreams of you Melting away the day wrapped up in the night If this is what you want I will never let you down |
