| I was coming home late from work tonite,worked late every night this week come to think of it.Strolling home through town I passed a couple,my age group I would say.Nothing unusual you would think and be quite right,except something they were doing, a simple thing but caught my eye,holding hands.Just got me thinking about the simplest of things that give us pleasure but we don,t even realise.Cold feet in your back at 3 am(maybe not),arms folding around you at 3 am(nice as I recall).Kisses for the coffee you brought her when she,s late for work,(the frown cos u forgot the sugar).The no interest at her latest dress purchase,(the WOW when she asks how do I look).The way she can breeze past you not knowing she is the woman that makes your heart skip a beat then says WHAT when she catches you looking at her.It all adds up to us not realising how much we take for granted , the SIMPLEST THINGS. |
