PASSION'S MOUNT

ride in on galloping mount
buckskins and sweat pouring
shouts and power to entrance

into my life, do not ride quietly
on heavy steed in clinking armor
expecting me to respond in passion

for loins and limbs covered, protected
my mare will shy from a rattling stallion
and I, trusting her, will naturally follow

arrive galloping, arms-wide fashion
and a look of lust, my paramour
into my life, do not ride quietly

give reason to feel entranced
skins aglow, passion pouring
heartbeats too fast to count
