there's something there still, i think i don't know why or maybe not. there wasn't anything there the last time you looked at me eyes hard, none of that familiar warmth but you seemed happy when i talked to you last happy to talk to me, that is and kind of melancholy but maybe not but then again, you were always good at hiding your feelings and i thought i was different or maybe not. so why now can't i get you out of my head? can't walk away from the thought of loving you well, maybe i can or maybe not. |
