I have spent a lifetime dreaming of my "first love" Yeah, he was great, and it was a time like no other But that is over now, and it is for the best Sometimes you have to thank God for unanswered prayers It took me til now to see, that he is not my one & only love Damn, I'm a slow learner I let my illusions of love make me think he was the only one meant for me What a waste of time There is so much more for me, than to stress over impossible outcomes The love of my life is out there Now the fun is in finding him |
