| There are moments in our lives that change us forever.We make choices on the spur of the moment that will map out our future in so many ways.The toss of a coin,turn of a card,we have all made decisions this way.Which hi-fi,what tv ,these are choices we make everyday that won,t have a disastrous effect on our lives if we choose badly.Love is the one imponderable for us,we choose someone but at that moment in time we have no idea if we love them or they us, yet we take a chance.Making up our minds can take a while,but during this we are creating moments in time that will stay with us,first date,first kiss,first sex. All these things at the moment they happen are a natural progression of events,we don,t realise they will be life changers for us.Would we if we knew the outcome change our choice?.My life has had moments, my hi-fi is 13 years old so a good choice there, my tv is Sony (can you go wrong),love hmmm ,can I say my choices have been wrong or right. Do I say the loves I,ve had but no longer yearn for were wrong choices even though I remember them with fondness,tough one to call.Of the loves I have had there is one that changed my life, I no longer yearn for her but over time she has affected my life in ways that all those years ago I would not have thought possible.I still remember the "moment" I made that choice,if I had tossed a coin it may have been different,but then I would have missed ALL the other moments with her. |
