I shouldn't have told you that I loved you that soon. I should have held it in just that little bit longer. That way it would have held more meaning to both you and to me. I shouldn't have talked about my ex lovers so much. I should have known that it would only make you feel uncomfortable. I shouldn't have taken you for granted the way that I did, thinking that you'd always be there for me no matter what. I shouldn't have wondered why, when you finally said it was over. But as they say, hindsight is 20/20. |
