for this

i remember the moments when I felt infinately free.  When the wind was a caress, and your kiss was waiting in the passing clouds.    I would wait for the blue of the sky, and it's passing into teal  then cobalt and then the dark obsidian of night waiting for the moment when your arms wrapped themselves around my shivering body.  The lyrics of song would take you away for such seconds that it seemed a painful seperation, even though you were there physically.  We don't belong to each other, but we belong with each other.  Not a rendering of spirit and surrendering of self, but a communion far greater than water and land in spring.  We are rather a falling rain, gentle drops with the scent of freshness in the air.  The new life coming with the solstice.  Those are the moments I am free, when we are raindrops falling uninhibited together.
