SHINE ON MOON MAN

each night, you've climbed into that sky
to help each darksky's evening give birth
to a great galaxy of twinkling stars high
and our romantic night's delight on earth

as your pale face in steady countenance
gives us more nightview slice after slice;
revealing glowing lovers' faces content,
eclipsed, we gaze upon you tonight twice
