| I always found it easy to get a good nights sleep on workdays,bed by 10,wake at 6,repeat as required.Weekends though seem to have become a whole new ballgame for me,or maybe its been the same for a long time and I just haven,t noticed.Somehow the need for sleep eludes me when I have run my card through the machine on Friday afternoon.On workdays bed takes on a practical function,sleep = rest = good days work carried out.On weekends the bed transforms itself into an amusement park for those fortunate enough to have aquired a ticket.I make the effort by turning off the tv at 11pm and hit the pillows,but then the "whisperers" come," Hey remember the nights she was here on weekends, wonder who she,s with now huh,bet he,s got a season ticket to the park huh".The "whisperers" are always there despite us saying we are ok, we can,t turn off the volume on our memories we can only turn it down, but on weekends the "whisperers" steal the remote control. |
