He just sits there in his room, Lights off...nothing but silence! He thinks of everything, his friends, his family....his life! He's Bursting w/ tears in the inside, Just the thought of everything bad in his life. He wishes that he could just end it, End the pain, end his life! Then he gets up....slowly walks to the kitchen... Heads for the knife that is sitting on the counter. He picks it up, His entire life flashes befor his eyes! Rooms spinning.... He becomes dizzy from all the thoughts and all the pain! He brings the knife closer to his skin and thinks, "One deep slide across my wrist...it'll all end!" And then she appears in his mind! And he envisioned her.... standing straight in front of him...w/ a blank look on her face! He slowly puts the knife he's holding back on the counter. And she starts to smile...and disappears! And he just stands there... And realizes what a mistake it would have been to end his life! He walks back to his room.... He lays down on his bed...and still the picture of her w/ the look of disappointment was still envisioned in his head! And then he slowly falls asleep...knowing she helped him not make the biggest mistake in his life....by just being his friend! |
