I stand again here on this stage Which lies in the depths of my heart Every seat in this auditorium has her name Every door is open to welcome her first The curtains are raised showing the beautiful setting Of a home built with straws of love and hope Two birds sit on the branch tired and resting Chirping in happiness from the reunion of their souls Their is light music in the air It beats the rhythm of this resurrected heart Their is a slight redness in the colors of these walls It represents the tears that have bleeded in the past I move forward to announce the show Signal all the crew to turn their attention And put the spotlight on the one I love The one I have been forever seeking The spotlight travels from one seat to another There is no trace of a friend or a foe I am sorry but we have to close down this performance The only person invited has decided not to show Again ... |
