I do most of my writing on the toilet. The toilet is the mans version of a kings throne. I'd like to think I draw most of my inspiration from elsewhere and not from the toilet, but the bathroom is where it all comes together. In this busy and deadline obsessed world the toilet is the only place some can find refuge in. It's a great place to sit, think, count your blessings and, well, take care of your business. Some people write in cafes or coffee shops, schools, or other quiet places. As for me give me a pen and sit me on a toilet and let me get lost in thoughts of my one and only. Where did I write this you ask? Well, do you really want to know? |
