No. I am not listening to another version of the same old STUPID song that tries to sugar the acid pill and mutters like a baffled chump "it's not you, it's me... or "it's not you, the timing is wrong" or "Maybe in another life". DON'T. It is me. And I'm all I have, and my life is what it is, and I never said otherwise--- so please don't try to crystal glaze goodbye, because you will never make it taste like something I would choose. I am not who you need--- or you don't need me enough, or my heart is the wrong shape, size or color. But don't tell me how lucky someone else will be somday if I was not marvel enough to make you want to stay. |
