My Type of Love

I used to write poetry so women would make love to my body. Now, I write poetry so that they make love to my soul. I want things to be more than just sex. More than just the occasional, "Thanks, that was great. I'll call ya." Because you know, you never will. What I want is passion. What I want is devotion, and trust. What I want is that toe twisting, mind blowing and everything else type of love. The, wake up in the morning, breath so bad they can smell it though your cheeks love, and still want to kiss you love. The, I want the stay in bed with you, even if the house is on fire type love; cause you know the way I work it gonna burn your body up anyway love. I want my type of love. The, I want to spend the rest of my life with you love. The, I'll be true to you in every sense of the word type love. The, feed you chicken soup and tuck you in when your sick love. But don't go trying to much to be like my mama type love. Show me the girl that can handle my type of love. And I'll show you a man, in love.
