(a retired teacher's daily exercise/lesson translated)
Under the sun
and under the moon
an ant went walking
from the nest
Until she reached a fountain
and, tired, stopped to rest
Ah, what beautiful clear water!
And as she tried to drink
she drowned and died.
Point of this tale:
1. Better to live dying of thirst?
2. Do not leave your nest exploring other vistas?
(Metes aqui tu punto:) Or: write you own point now ... "glo-po"
UNA ORMIGA
dia de los muertos
and tho' she stayed away from his nose
the ant, who went walking, failed
to say out from under the anteater's toes
so from his muddy pawprint pool,
her carcass, he bailed
just as the puma licked his chops
old anteater tried to dittybop
but froze in his tracks when puma wailed
for climbing up puma's tail
was a more fierce bunch of foes
and what that ant colony did
with puma and anteater -- who knows!
