She reigns in radiant beauty, like the sun, She graces the world around her with light, She fires the imagination of the starry nights, With the shining smile cast by her blue eyes. Her soft tresses adorn her beauty as does, The sweet tree enlivens the barren wood, Her countenance is peaceful and exacting, Her heart pure and her thoughts good. She moves soft and in eloquence, A quench to the thirst of my soul, She's so dear and inspires my life, More than she can know. She treads the expanses that only angels, And immortals have the right to tread Her smiles, her laughter, her innocence, Has tinted my life in a glow of happiness. At first sight I knew that she was the one, The only good I have ever known, Oh how I miss the beauty that was my love, my own, I pray she is not forever gone. |
