Haldir's Wife's Lament

Haldir,
I felt thee go, my dearest love, and at that moment of thy death, my heart did fall along with thee. In my sorrow, I vow to never love another, for thou art my only love, my deepest love, our souls entwined throughout all of time. The words I spoke to thee on the day we joined, Q Le meluvan úne ar alye lúmessen tenna nurucilie (I shall love thee for better or for worse until death do us part) shall live on even after thou art gone. And now I give this song to thee, beloved Haldir, and know that my heart shall sing laments until my time on earth is through.

Crossroads of Time
When the morning light
Fades into the dark of night
I shall walk through mist and sea
To once again unite with thee.
And then in mist where we belong
Thou shalt sing to me a deeper song
And take my hand within thine own
So I shall no longer walk alone.
Here where water falls so clear
And where we hold each other dear
I'll search thy soul within thine eyes
And there find no ugliness or lies.
The crossroads of time hath held my heart
And there no longer shall we be apart.
