then
that one faint whisper in the wind
told there was something wrong
as rush in whispered sound wave
held, then bade me to be strong
then reality became far too loud
around me unbelieving then, until
surrounded by murmurring crowd
that world so suddenly stood still
now
now, i spend so much time alone
i have found how good i am at it
time alone, that now you're gone
i don't think i'll quit this alone bit
sitting on this stone, mind's play
in nature's whirlwind; leaf winds,
I watch one just soaring away --
my love whisks on as it ascends
