| All time is relative,apparently,hey who am I to argue with Einstein.Time is indeed an oddity,10 minutes sawing logs or clearing snow from the drive can seem like 10 hours.Strange then how the same 10 minutes chatting to someone you once loved can seem like 10 seconds when they walk away.Does the heart measure time the same way I wonder?.For some falling in love takes years,for others the clock doesn,t even start.For me it was a heartbeat.The same old heart has been beating away for many a year now,I sometimes feel we are given a set number of heartbeats that go around in a cycle. Explains why every now and then I remember you out of the blue, maybe my heart remembers that one special beat.Many years from now when this old heart can,t carry on I want it to stop on the same beat from all those years ago,I want me and my old heart to quit happy. |
