| Who do we fool years down the line. We settle for someone because we don,t want to be alone, don,t want to reach all four corners of the bed without the warmth of someone next to us.Yet how many of us wake up in the morning and look at the person lying there and wish the bed was empty, I have done that and thats why I am alone now.Lonely,yes I am but better that than pretence.To spend a lifetime together to avoid loneliness,to go to bed each night with,to wake up each morning next to, to spend each day knowing you are going home to someone who you have no feelings for, sorry not for me.I have gone to bed at night with,woken up each morning next to, spent each day knowing I am going home to someone I love.I no longer have that, I miss that, maybe won,t have it again but I won,t settle just to avoid the loneliness.It,s a lonely life but I ain,t breaking someones heart. |
