| How many of us would leave a relationship despite being in love if we had advance knowledge of the outcome I wonder?.If the person we woke up for each morning no longer woke thinking of us,no longer waited for the phone to ring,no longer felt the tingle before meeting us.Could we look into their eyes knowing they were just looking for the right moment to call it a day?.Even though it would still hurt like hell would it be easier to say hey,look,I don,t think this is working for me.Would the lonely nights be less lonely,the random meetings less heart stopping,the walk away glances less of I miss you and more of a goodbye.Then would we ever fall in love if we knew it was not to last.Personally I wish I,d left when I was in love for then I would have no picture of her walking away, no audible memory of her last words and no pathetic pleading to recall years down the line.Love is not a perfect science hence no professors,guess we learn as we go but a sneak peek at the exam paper would be nice. |
